New England Front Desk ("we," "us") builds websites, manages websites and sets up AI phone answering for local trades businesses. This policy explains what information we collect on newenglandfrontdesk.com and how we use it.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you fill out the free sample site form, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, trade, towns served, website, email address and any optional details (such as your business phone number, scheduling tool, or notes).
- Emails. If you email us, we keep the message and your email address so we can reply.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider may log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and performance. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site.
How we use it
- To prepare your free sample site and plan, and to reply to you by email.
- If you become a client, to set up and run the services you sign up for.
- A business phone number you give us is used only to set up your AI phone agent. Giving it to us is not consent to receive calls or texts, and we will not call or text you unless you ask us to.
We only email you about your request and related services. Every marketing email from us includes our postal address and a simple way to opt out. To stop all emails, reply "unsubscribe" or write to hello@newenglandfrontdesk.com. We honor opt-outs promptly.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host, our form processor [TODO: name], and our email provider (Google Workspace). We also share it when the law requires.
Retention and security
We keep form submissions and emails for as long as needed to respond and to run our business, then delete them. We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access-controlled accounts. Please don't send passwords or payment card details through the form or by email.
AI phone agent (for our clients' callers)
When we run an AI phone agent for a client, the greeting tells callers they are speaking with an automated assistant and that the call may be recorded, as Massachusetts law requires. Call recordings and summaries belong to the client business and are used to handle the caller's request.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you sent us by emailing hello@newenglandfrontdesk.com.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
